The GBAC-TMN Board has prepared updates to the Chapter’s Bylaws and Operating Handbook to keep pace with the statewide Texas Master Naturalist Program. The proposed Bylaws document is specified by the statewide program. The updated Chapter Operating Handbook is in the statewide format, but includes processes and procedures specific to our Chapter. Please review the new documents (attached) and send any comments to Lynn Wright at email@example.com or come to the September 4th 2:00 pm Board meeting at Carbide Park and voice your comments in person. The Board will review comments received on or before September 4th and prepare final amended documents for the Chapter membership to vote on at a Chapter meeting.
Chapter Operating Handbook – current handbook approved in December 2014 chapter meeting
DRAFT v3 Chapter-Operating-Handbook 8-14-2015 With Highlighted Changes – modified to meet TXMN State Requirements .
The highlights indicate material suggested in the state guidelines that we added to our COH. Again, with a couple of exceptions, it is pretty much what our chapter has been doing all along, even if not in the COH.
