The GBAC-TMN Board has prepared updates to the Chapter’s Bylaws and Operating Handbook to keep pace with the statewide Texas Master Naturalist Program. The proposed Bylaws document is specified by the statewide program. The updated Chapter Operating Handbook is in the statewide format, but includes processes and procedures specific to our Chapter. Please review the new documents (attached) and send any comments to Lynn Wright at firstname.lastname@example.org by November 5, 2018. The Board will review comments received and prepare final amended documents for the Chapter membership to vote on at the December Chapter meeting.
Chapter Operating Handbook – current handbook approved in December 2014 chapter meeting
DRAFT v3 Chapter-Operating-Handbook 8-14-2015 With Highlighted Changes – modified to meet TXMN State Requirements .
The highlights indicate material suggested in the state guidelines that we added to our COH. Again, with a couple of exceptions, it is pretty much what our chapter has been doing all along, even if not in the COH.
