On Thursday, February 15th, our chapter welcomes its new training class members. Our new class is made up of 22 community members from all points of Galveston and Harris counties. During these eleven weeks of adventure, our new class will be treated to adventures and days of discovery learning more about prairies, sea turtles, watershed management and so much more. They will be exploring by kayak and on foot the wonders of Galveston Island State Park as well as helping to restore prairies and trawling with Texas A&M University.
