Dolphin Challenge is back!
We are excited to announce that the Dolphin Challenge, a regional competition of the National Ocean Science Bowl (NOSB), will take place on February 1, 2025, at the Texas A&M University – Galveston Campus. Hosted and sponsored by Texas Sea Grant, this nationally recognized and highly acclaimed high school academic competition brings together high school students from across the region to test their knowledge of ocean sciences in a fast-paced, quiz-style competition.
Volunteers are needed in the following positions: moderator, science judge, time keeper, runner, score keeper and room leader.
Volunteers must attend 2 trainings at Carbide Park
Required training for Dolphin Challenge will be held at the Extension Office (Carbide Park). Trainings will be held:
Wed, Dec. 11 – 10 am – noon
Tues, Jan. 27 – 2 pm – 4 pm
