If you want to learn about the behind-the-scenes actions of many caring humans to help injured birds survive and thrive, please join our ZOOM training on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 from 1:30 to 3:00 pm.
The training will include a short overview of the Galveston Bay Injured Bird Response Team from the beginning in 2017 to the present, given by Galveston Police Dept. Animal Services Officer, Josh Henderson. Josh will be followed a few highlights during this time, including transporter information. Then an overview and orientation of the new 24 hr hot line reporting system will be presented, including the roles and tasks that need to be maintained to make this important service to our birds, community and local governments sustainable.
Specific tasks/role training will be scheduled after the orientation. Several of these tasks can be done from your home.
Look for the Chapter email for the ZOOM details.
