WHAT: A TOUR OF THE NOAA WEATHER STATION 1-hour AT

WHEN: SATURDAY JULY 22, 10AM

WHERE: 1353 FM 646 IN DICKINSON

HOW: MANDATORY REGISTRAION link for the registration form

Registration is limited to 32 attendees (as of 7/5 the list is full, use the link to join our wait list). Because of this, family members and friends are not able to register for this event. Also, because numbers are so limited, it is essential the you notify Tracy Walpole immediately if you find that you cannot attend. There will be a waiting list so if you don’t let her know you’ll miss the event someone will be left out who could otherwise attend.

NOTE: This tour will be cancelled in the unlikely case of a severe weather event.

What to expect: A team from NOAA will introduce you to what the National Weather Service does and tell you a little about local weather. You will also get to tour the operations area, see where the forecasts and warnings are created and issued.
