Please join the Environmental Institute of Houston located at the University of Houston-Clear Lake campus (2700 Bay Area Blvd.) each Tuesday morning from 9am-11am for a fun filled gardening workday.  Please bring a reusable water bottle, a sun hat and wear closed toed shoes.  We provide the fun, tools and the snacks and can’t wait for you to join us! VOL – Adopt A Highway Fall Cleanup

As part of the Texas Adopt a Highway program, the Galveston Bay Area Chapter of the Texas Master Naturalist adopted a two mile stretch of FM 3005 on Galveston's west end approximately 3 years ago. Since then we have removed a tremendous amount of plastic and other trash located mere yards from the Gulf of Mexico. Our Fall clean up will be on Friday, September 20th. We'll meet at the Brasfield home located at 16922 Beachcomber Drive, City of Jamaica Beach…

Please join us for our bimonthly GBAC Adopt a Highway clean-up on FM 3005 in Galveston! We’ll meet at the Brasfield home located at 16922 Beachcomber Drive, City of Jamaica Beach on Galveston Island at sunrise.  Supplies and tools will be provided.   We normally clean for 1.5 to 2.0 hours.
