Congratulations to chapter member, Jim Duron – Class of 2008 , on reaching 25,000 volunteer hours of service. Jim’s roles over the years have included tracking of volunteer hours before & during transition to VMS & teacher/mentor to our chapter members. Jim’s dedication and commitment to the prairie is legendary. He has spent numerous hours working on restoration, growth and maintenance at Armand Bayou Nature Center, Texas City Prairie Preserve, San Jacinto State Park and other locations throughout our community continues on today. Next time you see Jim, congratulate him on this amazing achievement.
