Jim Duron, who is in charge of the Armand Bayou Nature Center prairie Friday activities, was recently recognized as the Armand Bayou Nature Center Exceptional Volunteer of 2022. Jim spends a lot of time at Armand Bayou taking care of the prairie plants. From picking seeds, to making sure all the potted plants get watered, Jim does a tremendous job of tracking all the prairie plants. Next time you see Jim, congratulate him on a well deserved award.
