Advanced Training

AT Tips

All Texas Master Naturalists must complete 8 hours of Advanced Training annually.

Here are some easy ways to get that annual training:

-Watch the AT at each Chapter Meeting on the fourth Monday of each month at 7:00p
-Watch the AT at TMN Tuesdays on the second Tuesday of each month at 12:00p

-Find other recurring events on the Chapter Calendar

Keep that up and you'll have your 8 hours of AT in no time at all!

But...

You have to remember to log your hours in VMS. If you don't log them within 45 days of the event, then it is like it never happened!

Could it be...?

If you find a training that is not on the calendar but you want to go and to get AT hours for attending, you can submit the event to the AT Director. The event will be evaluated and if it qualifies it will be designated as an AT and placed on the calendar.

Use this handy form to submit an event for evaluation as an AT
