A twelve-week course is scheduled for Spring 2027

  • Meetings will be scheduled throughout the Kerrville, Boerne, and Fredericksburg areas.
  • A weekday evening from 5:30 – 8:30p requiring in person or Zoom attendance.
  • Most Saturdays from 9:00a – 3:00p and are in person only.
  • The cost of the training will be around $200 which includes the textbook.
  • Because we interact with the public in our volunteer work, everyone must complete a background check.

To complete the training and become a certified Master Naturalist you must

  • Complete the course
  • Volunteer at least 40 hours at approved projects within 1 year
  • Attend 8 hours of advanced training within 1 year.
