Event Summary:
Discover why Texas is a biodiversity hot spot.
Event Description:
Romey Swanson, Director of Conservation Strategy for Audubon Texas, will bounce between birds and herps to discuss some of the conservation challenges Texas faces and some of the wins we can celebrate. This will all lead into a deep dive on his efforts to find and document as many species of reptile and amphibians as possible in Texas during 2021. Photo rich and full of natural history vignettes, this presentation should prove to be a fast-paced and interesting overview for anyone with even a cursory interest in this poorly understood and often maligned group of animals.
