Event Description:
Learn how to build a deeper connection with the outdoors through nature journaling with local artist Jessi Jordan. During this class, students will learn how to put together their own nature journaling kit and different ways to document their observations. No prior experience necessary. This class will include both indoor and outdoor components.
A small starter notebook and limited supplies will be provided. Please bring any additional supplies you would like to work with such as a larger sketchbook, watercolor paper, paints, markers, etc
This class is open to adults of all ages. No prior experience is necessary.
Space is limited and registration is required.
Jessi Jordan is a professional illustrator, comic artist & writer in Austin, Texas.
Armed with BFA degrees in Illustration and Animation, Jessi is a passionate visual storyteller. Her work includes The Wilds, Everything is Going Wrong, Corpus, The Secret Loves of Geeks, Mine!, Musings, The Adventures of Marni & Edward, Comix Gauntlet, From Life, Psycho Girlfriend, Moonlight Rrrriot, and The Class.
She also won a coloring contest when she was nine.
