A twelve-week course is scheduled for Spring 2026
- Meetings will be scheduled throughout the Kerrville, Boerne, and Fredericksburg areas.
- Most Thursday evenings from 5:30 – 8:30p requiring in person or Zoom attendance.
- Most Saturdays from 9:00a – 3:00p and are in person only.
- The cost of the training is $200 which includes the textbook.
- Because we interact with the public in our volunteer work, everyone must complete a background check.
To complete the training and become a certified Master Naturalist you must
- Complete the course
- Volunteer at least 40 hours at approved projects within 1 year
- Attend 8 hours of advanced training within 1 year.

If you have previously expressed interest in the course, you should be receiving an email within the week. If you are new to the course, just come back on November 3 and start the application process.
