Pearland Wetland Awareness Day

Hello wetland volunteers,

Since you have experience with the floating wetlands at Clear Falls, I wanted to let you know about the floating wetlands we will be planting in Pearland, March 7 and 8. We’ll be planting and launching a string of floating wetlands this time, plus creating and placing “bulrush balls” (and other species) for habitat in the pond at the John Hargrove Environmental Complex, site of the future Pearland Nature Center. Come on out and start a new wetland habitat! Dates are Saturday March 7, 9am-3pm. Sunday March 8, 1pm to 4pm.
