Bayside Park NatureFest volunteer opportunity

Much help needed for Bayside Park NatureFest

Saturday, October 7, 2023 10 am – 2 pm

Bayside Regional Park 4833 10th St. Bacliff, Texas

We need volunteers to:

1. Set up and take down canopy tents.

2. Help NatureFest Leaders with the ever-popular TMN booths: Registration, Wingspan booth, birding activity/Injured birds, Plastic Pollution Prevention, Insects education, Seed balls, Native Plant exhibit, Mammals and more (TBD) as well as a few rovers to answer visitor questions.

Houston Audubon returns with their very popular Live Raptor Show. New for this year: Games for kids and a cookie booth for snacks.

This is a fun event and a way to reach out to the local community of Bacliff, San Leon and surrounding areas and introduce them to Bayside Park, the Texas Master Naturalists, Native Plant Society, their local environment and wildlife neighbors!
