VOL – Bayside Regional Park work day

Bayside Regional Park Volunteer Service Opportunity

If you haven’t had a chance to help out at Bayside Regional Park, we would love for you to come out Friday Dec. 8 at 8:30 am to help with weeding and mulching trees next to our prairie area. There may also be an opportunity to help bump up some prairie grasses that our members have been growing. Or, if you prefer, you can do a little weeding in the garden, and even collect some native grass seeds that are ready.

Please let Sandy Parker know at sap99@sbcglobal.net (847-903-7949) if you’ll be able to make it. That way she can contact you if we have to cancel due to weather. Our back up date is Dec. 15.

Bring your gloves, hats, boots, water bottle, pruning shears, kneeling pads and anything else you might need. Snacks will be provided. If you haven’t seen the garden or the prairie area, you really need to come!
