VOL – Exploration Green’s Earth Day – Clearlake

This Saturday is our wetland nursery open house as part of Exploration Green’s  Earth Day event in Clear Lake. If you are intending to participate as a docent, or would like to, can you confirm with me? You can join in for all or part of the 9am-12 Open House.

 We will be showing people how to bump up young spider lilies and pot up Alligator flag/Thalia. No particular experience necessary, just an enthusiasm for showing others how to work with soil, sun, and water. Visitors will also have an opportunity to do a wetland nursery “scavenger hunt” to see various plants and animals living in the nursery.
