Texas Parks and Wildlife hosts the largest, longest, and most exciting birdwatching tournament in the U.S.! On May 3, there will be local opportunities to participate in a BIG SIT on the island and on the mainland. In a BIG SIT, birders sit in a 50-foot circle and have 24 hours to identify as many birds as they can from within the circle.
See the attached flyers if you’re interested.
