VOL – school garden prep work

Lauren DeShazo, the Volunteer Coordinator for the Houston Humane Society Wildlife Center has requested some volunteers for a 1-day, 4-hour opportunity on June 1 at a Houston school in Harris County.

The volunteers will be working with Andrea Hernandez, the Science Workshop Site Director at Edison MS from the Children’s Museum of Houston to update and prepare their school’s garden for native plantings. She’s looking for around 25 volunteers.
