VOL – Sheldon Lake Plant-a-thon

Event description
Help us restore the coastal prairie! Every year, we focus on restoring what was once farmland back to native prairie habitat in efforts to re-establish the diverse wildlife it once had. Our target goal for this event is to get 1,000-2,000 native prairie plants back into the ground.
For this volunteer experience, participants will be digging holes and planting potted plants in the prairie. We will provide all tools necessary and will provide a brief orientation.

Duration:There are three time slots to pick from.

Who:Anyone 8 years of age and greater.
Registration
Every single participant 13 years old and up will register online here.
If under 13 years of age, they will need to contact me directly ([email protected]) to register.
After participants register online, I will individually reach out to each registered participant and ask which time slot they prefer. Time slots are available on a first come, first served basis.
