Vol – Stormwater Wetlands Potting

Join Cullen in the nursery for potting up the various species we have collected in the previous weeks.

The nursery is near 1719 Neptune Lane, Clear Lake City (Houston) 77062. Park along the street near the bridge (from which you can see the nursery) and take the northeast trail.

Last week: We visited Sea Center Texas and another site near Lake Jackson to collect Coastal water hyssop/Bacopa monnieri , Jointed flatsedge/Cyperus articulatis, and Thin scale sedge/Carex hyalinolepis.  Special thanks to Peggy and Chris for acting as our guides, to new volunteers Anna and Mike, and to John O who spent a few sunny hours out of the office with us. Pete, Nancy, Ray, Laura and Cullen pitched in too.  Thanks all!
