Congrats to Tom Solomon – 15,000 Volunteer Service Hour Milestone

Congrats to GBAC-TXMN Class of 2005 for reaching and surpassing the 15,000 Volunteer Service Hour milestone.  Tom’s volunteer work is focused on the maintaining, restoring and outreach efforts for our prairies.   Tom and Dick Benoit are two of the three TXMN who have reached (surpassed) this level of service to our community.

Happy 15th Anniversary – GBAC Reaches Another Milestone

Our chapter is celebrating our 15th anniversary as a Texas Master Naturalist chapter.  Since our inception, we have had 347 volunteers who received their initial TXMN certification.   Our organization has donated 335,408 volunteer hours and are still going strong.  Congratulations to our community and looking forward to many more years of service.

The Midden – Awarded Best TXMN Newsletter Two Years in a Row

Congratulations goes out to The Midden editorial board for winning best newsletter at the Texas Master Naturalist Conference in October.  This is the second year in a row that this honor has been awarded to our newsletter.  Kudos to the editor and team for their hard work and effort on behalf of our chapter.
