Event Description: Join the Comfort Heritage Foundation’s monthly meeting and hear the featured speaker, Mr. Lonnie Childs, talk about the early Texas naturalists. Lonnie resides in Fredericksburg and has authored numerous articles on natural history subjects and has been a frequent presenter. He will talk about the early 19th century naturalists and adventurists who traversed Texas in pursuit of scientific knowledge, many of whom came through the Comfort area.
