Learn about native plants, invasive plants and plants for birds from experts.

Event Description:
Please join us at the 2022 NPSOT Spring Symposium. Held in partnership with the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, the 2022 Symposium is online.

We have a great lineup of interesting speakers, and it ends with an online field trip of the Wildflower Center grounds by Andrea DeLong Amaya.

George Diggs will highlight Texas ferns, and Kathy Zarski will tell us about the amazing Westcave Preserve, a Texas wonder. Lisa Gonzalez of Texas Audubon will discuss invasive plants and also plants for birds. Adam Black, freelance botanist, will tell us about saving ladyslipper orchids, and Valerie Bugh will talk about the Fauna project she works with at the Wildflower Center.

Cost: $30 – Non-members
$20 – Native Plant Society of Texas (NPSOT) members
$20 – Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center (LBJWC) members
