The event occurs on 04/26/2025.
The City Nature Challenge is an annual global event that encourages people in cities around the world to observe and document the biodiversity in their environments using iNaturalist. Cities compete with each other in a friendly competition to see which location can document the most species in their local area. The San Antonio area placed 1st in the United States and 3rd in the world in 2024! Look for a training walk before the event and learn how to use iNaturalist. Then join us to add your observations and help keep our National Crown! The City Nature Challenge will take place this year over a four-day weekend, April 25-28, 2025.
