From Jeanie Springer, Director, Projects & Opportunities: There are new TMN guidelines for logging iNaturalist and eBird volunteer hours (VH) in VMS. A group of experts from TX worked on these best practices guidelines. If you log hours into VMS for iNaturalist and eBird use, please read the two attached documents closely (Quick Guide & the long version) ….there are many changes.

Master Naturalists can now start logging VH for iNaturalist species identification/curation (non-field work). I added a new opportunity in VMS, FR:iNaturalist TNT Project Curation/Identification. At this time we are not doing the Texas Nature Trackers Camera Trap Loan Program…which you will read about in documents.
