How to Join

Submit a Class Application Form, Background Check Form, and $150 fee.

Applications are usually taken when a class is scheduled. Membership is based on completion of 40 hours of training consisting of classes and field trips covering many elements of nature and wildlife.

The Application Form and Background Authorization Form can be obtained from the AgriLife Extension Office at 100 East 1st street in Cameron, 254-697-7045, or by downloading the New Student Application Form,  and the Background Check Authorization form here. which is required to accompany the application since much of our work is with children.  The class enrollment fee is $150 per person, and should accompany the application – or make arrangements with the class leader(s) for a payment schedule.  This primarily covers the printing cost of the course materials which includes a large 3 ring binder of extensive information.
