GBF Rain barrel Workshop

Galveston Bay Foundation’s Rain Barrel Program is working to conserve water and reduce stormwater runoff, pollution, and bacteria entering Galveston Bay. This workshop will discuss the environmental benefit of using the rain barrel, as well as proper rain barrel preparation, installation instructions and tips.
Participants who purchase a rain barrel and kit can pick up their supplies between 10:00 am and 10:30 am and stay or the hands-on installation presentation. Pre-registration is required to reserve a barrel, but the event itself is free and open to all. Workshop fee + Rain barrels and gutter installation kit are $40. Workshop participants can purchase a maximum of 2 barrels.
