Heartwood TMN Chapter hosts Sam Hill, Texas A&M’s Woodland Ecologist.
He will be presenting “Roots to Rivers: The Role of Forests and Trees in Greater Houston Watershed Conservation”. During her presentation we’ll discuss the role of forests and trees in watershed health and learn about regionally native riparian tree species, their benefits to the environment, uses for restoration, and where to find them in the Greater Houston ecotone.
