Before a fossil becomes a masterpiece in our halls, it must survive the delicate, high-stakes surgery of the Prep Lab. This is where history is literally chiseled from stone.
Join Colin Diggins, manager of the HMNS Paleo Lab, for an exclusive, behind-the-scenes deep dive into the newest and most ferocious additions to our collection.
Discover the precision skills, part archaeology, part geology, and part fine art, required to preserve vertebrate history.
